Over the last year, I had become suspicious that my Twitter account was being shadow-banned somehow. No matter how many new follower notifications I got, my follower count would not rise above 1120. Compared to many adult-themed accounts on Twitter, I have kept mine tame in hopes that I would never get shadow banned.
Well, my suspicions were warranted.
Search Suggestion Ban
“This type of ban causes an account to not populate search suggestions or in people’s search results when it is searched for while being logged out. Twitter seems to take tie strength or a similar metric into account. While an account may be suggested to users you are strongly tied to, it may not be shown to others.“
I will keep my current account (@msevalordes ) for now since I have it linked all over my websites. I have also created a new sister account I will be transitioning over to as needed. Follow me @ServeEvaNow
